President of Moldova receives UAE Foreign Minister

Moldovan President Igor Dodon yesterday received H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and his accompanying delegation, in the Moldovan capital, Chisinau, upon his arrival on an official visit to the country.

President Dodon welcomed Sheikh Abdullah and expressed his country's keenness to strengthen its bilateral ties with the UAE in several fields, especially political, economic, social and cultural ones, as his government holds the UAE in high regard.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed UAE-Moldovan relations and ways of supporting and developing them, and discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the outcome of his visit to Moldova, pointing out the importance of continuing the exchange of high-level visits between the two countries.

President Dodon affirmed his country's efforts to bolster its relations with the UAE, and praised the progress and development witnessed by the UAE in all fields.
