President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall, met here on Saturday with Attorney General, HE Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri, in his capacity as the UN Special Advocate.
Talks during the meeting dealt with activities of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center (ROLACC), ROLACC's future directions within the framework of the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and the projects needed by the African continent, especially Western countries.
The meeting was attended by Qatar's Ambassador to Senegal HE Saree bin Ali al Qahtani.
HE Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri also met with Senegal's Prime Minister, Mohamed bin Abdullah Dionne, and Minister of Justice, Sidiki Kaba, to discuss a number of topics and to emphasize the continuous close cooperation between the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Ministry of Justice of Senegal to implement the plan of action agreed upon with the ROLACC and follow-up implementation of the recommendations of the Dakar Conference organized in 2015 by the Senegalese Ministry of Justice and the ROLACC in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
