Prime Minister Sherif Ismail met on Tuesday with Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean.
The meeting was attended by Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hossam Moghazi.Ismail praised the deeply-rooted relations between Egypt and Singapore, expressing Egypt's keenness to bolster ties with the Asian country in all fields.
"Egypt seeks to make use of Singaporean expertise in the fields of water treatment, ports, engineering and aviation," Ismail said, adding that Singaporean businessmen are welcome to invest in Egypt's projects, especially in the Suez Canal area.
Hean hailed the outcome of his meeting with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi earlier in the day, noting that his visit to Egypt aims at bolstering ties with Egypt in all domains.
He also expressed his country's keenness to implement projects agreed upon with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during his visit to Singapore in 2015.
Hean praised also the role played by Al Azhar to spread the moderate teachings of Islam and refute extremist thoughts
