HE the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah met here on Tuesday with the French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to Qatar.

During the meeting they discussed relations between the two countries in addition to other topics of mutual interest.

French Ambassador to Qatar Eric Chevallier and a number of Qatari Armed Forces senior officers attended the meeting.
