Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Secretary-General Dr. Mustapha Al-Sayyid received Council of Representatives member MP Rua Al-Haiki and discussed legislations and laws related to women and children, particularly widows and orphans.
Dr. Al-Sayyid shed light on the history of the charity foundation as well as the number of widows and orphans supported by His Majesty the King and the other social categories which are also benefiting from the RCO programmes.
He outlined the RCO care programmes which contribute to supporting children, as well development projects and humanitarian relief aid dispatched to brotherly and friendly countries, under directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, RCO Honorary President. He paid tribute to HM the King Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and RCO Board of Trustees’ Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for his support.
MP Al-Haiki hailed the royal directives issued by HM the King to provide all required care and support to orphans and widows, lauding the dedicated efforts of Bahrain's leadership, government and people for extending a helping hand to affected people in all countries in the world.
