Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met Wednesday with former Spanish prime minister Miguel Moratinos.

During the meeting, the two sides tackled the Mideast conditions, especially the latest developments in the Palestinian cause and efforts to revive talks between the Palestinians and the Israelis.

The meeting also took up the conditions in the Gaza Strip and the importance of meeting the pledges made by donor countries for Gaza's reconstruction during Cairo Conference, which was held last October.
