Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Saturday with a number of prominent US figures, including Henry Kissinger and Dennis Ross, on the sidelines of his participation in the meetings of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The meetings touched on a number of bilateral, regional and international issues of common concern.

The meetings fell within the framework of exchanging views and clarifying stances of the Egyptian and American sides.
