President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Wednesday received visiting Jordanian Prime Minister Hany al Mulqa.
Attending the meeting were Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Minister of Defense and Military Production Colonel General Sedqi Sobhi along with Jordanian Ambassador here Bishr al Khasawneh.
President Sisi welcomed the visiting premier in his second homeland, said presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef.
He entrusted Mulqa with conveying his greetings to Jordanian King Abdullah II, added the spokesman, noting that Sisi hailed the outcome of a recent visit by the Jordanian monarch to Egypt.
For his part, the Jordanian premier conveyed the greetings of King Abullah II to president Sisi, said the spokesman, adding that Mulqa expressed satisfaction over exchanged visits by the two sides, which reflect keenness on promoting joint cooperation.
The meeting took up the recent developments in the Arab region, said the spokesman, adding that views of the two sides were identical over reaching political settlements to crises in Arab countries.
