President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Wednesday Senegalese education minister and presidential envoy at presence of Senegalese ambassador in Cairo, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
The Senegalese envoy extended the condolences of the Senegalese President Macky Sall over the victims of the explosion that took place at el Botrousya church on Sunday, asserting his country’s full solidarity with Egypt.
The Senegalese minister delivered a message to Sisi from Sall on promoting bilateral cooperation with Egypt in the different domains.
The Senegalese official lauded the cooperation between Egypt and Senegal in the field of agriculture, education and training, expressing his country’s appreciation that Egypt receives big numbers of Senegalese students to study in it, the spokesman said.
Sisi lauded the ties between both states in the different fields.
The meeting took up the importance of boosting international and regional efforts to combat terror along with coordination between both countries on the different African and international issues of mutual interest.
