High-level military talks were held during the current visit of Egyptian Minister of Defence Colonel General Sedky Sobhy to China, the Egyptian Armed Forces announced on Tuesday.

Talks with his Chinese counterpart Chang Wanquan took up means of promoting joit military cooperation.

The two ministers also exchanged views regarding the current regional developments.

Sobhy's visit to China falls within the framework of the deep Egyptian-Chinese strategic relations and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to China n December.
