Top Military Chiefs of Turkey, the US and Russia yesterday discussed the regional security situation at a meeting in the southern Antalya province, according to the Turkish military General Staff.
According to the Anadolu Agency, Hulusi Akar, Chief of the Turkish General Staff, his US counterpart, General Joseph Dunford, and the Russian, Valery Gerasimov, exchanged views on the security situation in the region, particularly those of Syria and Iraq.
The meeting came ahead of the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan's two-day visit to Moscow, which is expected to start on Thursday.
