UAE Ambassador to Bogota, Mohammed Isa Al Qattam Al Zaabi, met here yesterday with the Colombian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Patti Londono Jaramillo.

During the meeting, they emphasised the importance of agreements between the two countries to promote investments, to increase trade exchange and to enhance co-operation among educational and cultural institutions.

Jaramilo praised the vital role played by the UAE, especially in environment protection and international humanitarian and charitable works.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior Colombian foreign ministry officials.
