Vatican ambassador to Egypt Bruno Musaro and Bishop of Minya Diocese Botrous Fahim visited on Saturday Resurrection Church and a number of monasteries in Minya and New Minya cities.

During the visit, Musaro asserted that the governorate is secure, pointing out at the development efforts in the governorate and Upper Egypt.

He added that the Vatican is not worried over terror attacks threatening Egypt because terrorism targets all countries not only Egypt.

He also met with Minya Governor Tarek Nassr and honored him with Pope Francis medal.
