Yemeni Vice President Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar on Wednesday met with UK Special Envoy to Yemen Alan Duncan. 

Ahmar asserted during the meeting that the Yemeni government is serious in achieving peace and restoring security

The meeting was attended by UK deputy ambassador to Yemen Harriet Cross. 

The British officials stressed their country's support for the legitimacy in the war-torn Yemen.
