The export council of food industries said Saturday that a delegation of Egyptian companies will visit Kenya on April 2-6.

The delegation is scheduled to meet with food importers in Kenya, the council said in a statement. 

Kenya is one of the most important markets Egypt is keen on tapping in Africa, the council added. 

Egypt's food exports to Kenya amounted to 51 million dollars in 2016 compared with 25 million dollars in 2015.
