Egypt's Ambassador to Togo Karim Sherif met with a group belonging to the league of Togolese trainees and students that had been established by the embassy to promote ties between the two countries.

The league was set up to convey the true image about the situation in Egypt to the African country, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
