Minister of Scientific Research Sherif Hammad arrived here on Wednesday to participate in the China-Arab States Technology and Innovative Cooperation Conference.

The visit comes at an invitation of the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology.

The five-day event is held in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui autonomous region.

Cultural adviser at the Egyptian Embassy in China Hussein Ibrahim said the conference is one of several events to held on the fringe of the China-Arab States Expo 2015.

He added that another forum will be held for Arab youth women, who contributed to attaining development at their countries.
