The "Gulf Security 1 " exercises will kick off in Manama on Wednesday with massive participation of forces of the Arab Gulf Interior Ministries.

According to the Kuwaiti KUNA news agency, the exercises will last until mid next month.

The exercises are aimed at training security men on means of handling all events and upgrading their preparedness for overcoming crises along with enhancing coordination among Gulf security bodies concerned.

The exercises are also aimed at exchanging information in the field of planning and joint implementation of operations, added the agency.
