The activities of the executive bureau of Arab health ministers under Kuwait will be held on Tuesday in the headquarters of the Arab League.
A ministerial round table will be held under the rubric of "women health and challenges to face non-contageous diseases within the framework of achieving goals of sustainable development 2030" under the auspices of Egyptian Health Minister Ahmed Emadeldin, a statement of the Arab League said on Monday.
Health ministers from Egypt, Comoros, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania and Yemen will attend the meeting, the statement added.
The meeting of the 47th ordinary round of the council of Arab health ministers will be held on Wednesday, the statement said.
Cairo declaration on Arab women health in 2017 will be launched during the inaugural session of the council, the statement added.
The agenda of the council meeting includes several important health issues on psychological health, addiction treatment and prevention, the Arab strategy to combat AIDS (2014-2020), international- Arab cooperation in the health field (Chinese-Indian), improving the health of mothers, adolescents and children in the Arab region, health legislations, Arab integration in the field of medicine, offering financial and technical support to the Palestinian health sector, presenting health support to the Iraqi government, offering health support to Somali government and the impact of the Syrian refugees on the health sector in hosting countries.
