Moroccan King Mohammed VI will pay an official visit to China as of Wednesday at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Lu Kang said in a statement.
During his visit, the king will hold official talks with the Chinese president, the Chinese official added, noting that the two leaders will attend a signing ceremony of several bilateral agreements.
The Moroccan King is also scheduled to meet with a number of Chinese senior officials.
Meanwhile, a strategic Moroccan-Chinese partnership is expected to be established during the visit.
