Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Monday visited Assiut's Menqabad, one of the poorest villages in the country, promising to meet their demands in better water and education services.
The prime minister said three million pounds were earmarked to provide 465 houses in the village with sewage systems.
He said 50,000 houses have been covered with sewage systems at cost of 30 million pounds.
