Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil said that Cairo will receive a Mexican commercial mission end of September.
The mission will group representatives of great firms which are members in the Arab Mexican Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CAMIC) and interested in the Egyptian market.
A forum will be organized in cooperation with Egyptian Businessmen Association to probe investment opportunities and the advantages of the Egyptian market.
These remark came during the meeting held between Qabil and the Mexican Ambassador here Jorge Alvarez Fuentes where the two sides discussed means of promoting commercial and economic joint ties during the coming phase.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Qabil underlined that cooperation between his ministry and its Mexican counterparts was probed.
The minister reiterated that the discussions took up the importance of expanding joint commercial relations, noting that the bilateral trade volume reached 82 million dollars only during 2015.
There is a great opportunity for Egypt to increase its exports, such as leather, livestock and the agricultural crops to the Mexican market.
For his part, the Mexican ambassador stressed his country's keenness on enhancing economic relations with Egypt, adding that the Arab country witnesses security and stability which will encourage Mexican businessmen to invest in the Egyptian market.
