Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Singapore and Malaysia in early August, and attend foreign ministers' meetings on east Asian cooperation, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei announced on Wednesday in a press release.

Wang's visit to Singapore, scheduled from August 2 to 3, is at the invitation of Singaporean Foreign Minister K Shanmugam, according to China website.

After his Singapore trip, Wang will visit Malaysia and attend foreign ministers' meetings from August 4 to 7 at the invitation of Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Aman.
