German Chancellor Angela Merkel will meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Moscow on May 2, the premier of Germany's state of Bavaria, Horst Seehofer, told reporters on Thursday in the Russian capital.
Seehofer was scheduled to meet with Putin in the Kremlin later in the day, particularly to discuss the economic sanctions between the European Union and Russia that have been imposed over the Ukraine crisis, German News Agency (DPA) reported.
