Head of the opposition Future Front party Abdelaziz Belaid said the coming legislative elections, due to be held on May 4, are "turning point" for the Algerian people.
In statements to MENA on Wednesday, Belaid said that the elections will strengthen the democratic path in the country.
He also voiced support for the High Independent Authority of Election Monitoring (HIISE) that will observe the elections.
He further noted that his party will have nominees in all provinces countrywide, except four.
