A two-day conference of the Syrian opposition will kick off here on Monday.

The conference, dubbed "the Syrian opposition for a political solution", will group 150 political figures, representing different factions of the Syrian opposition.

Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is planned to take part in the conference's opening session.

The conference is meant to discuss upcoming moves to end the Syrian crisis and stop the bloodshed.
