Actress and singer Anna Kendrick is to perform at the 87th Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles, show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced Monday.
"Out of the woods and on to the Oscar stage, Anna will be performing something special that is sure to be an 'only on the Oscars' moment," Zadan and Meron said in a statement.
"Excited to announce @TheAcademy has invited me to be part of a special performance at the #Oscars on Feb. 22nd!" Kendrick tweeted.
The Oscars telecast is to be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris Feb. 22 on ABC.
Kendrick can now be seen in the movie musical Into the Woods.
