Dakota Johnson

Melanie Griffith took to Twitter to praise daughter Dakota Johnson and her success with Fifty Shades of Grey.
The 57-year-old actress declared herself "SO PROUD" of her 25-year-old daughter Friday, and tweeted, "I am watching what's happening to my sweet child Dakota and feeling so much love for her. And I am grateful that she is happy in her life!" on Sunday.
Griffith regularly takes to social media to applaud and promote Johnson, who will star as Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey. Despite the actress' obvious support for her daughter, she did tell reporters she won't be watching the sexually charged film Saturday.
"She would be very uncomfortable if I saw it, and I would be very uncomfortable if I saw it. So we would never be able to talk about it, so why would I see it?" she admitted before asserting, "I was so happy for her when she called me [about the role]."
Fifty Shades of Grey is based on the E.L. James erotic novel of the same name, and opens in theaters February 13. The story follows the relationship between college student Anastasia (Johnson) and Christian, a businessman with a predilection for BDSM.
Johnson is the daughter of Griffith and actor Don Johnson, who first married in 1976 and remarried from 1989 to 1996. The burgeoning actress previously appeared in The Social Network, For Ellen and The Five-Year Engagement, and is scheduled for Black Mass with Johnny Depp.
