Michael Cera has released surprise album True That.
The 26-year-old actor made the record available on Bandcamp last week, and Superbad co-star Jonah Hill announced the news Tuesday on Twitter.
"My great friend Michael Cera not only is a brilliant actor, he also makes great music," Hill wrote.
The lo-fi album consists of 18 tracks, and features Cera on acoustic guitar. The songs have a folk music tinge, and include titles such as "Old Grey Whistle," "Sexy Danger" and "Smoke Eyes." The actor previously played bass guitar on tour for supergroup Mister Heavenly.
Cera is well-known for his role as George Michael Bluth on Fox/Netflix series Arrested Development, and as the title character of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. He will next appear alongside John C. Reilly in Entertainment in 2015.
True That is available to stream for free on Bandcamp, or to download for $7.
