Actress Taryn Manning

A woman accused of stalking Orange is the New Black actress Taryn Manning has been emailing and texting her, in violation of a restraining order, prosecutors said.

Page Six and E! News reported that Jeanine Heller is addicted to the Internet and has been consistently emailing and texting the star, who plays Tiffany Doggett on the Netflix series.

Criminal Court Judge Ann Scherzer viewed Heller's relationship to the web like "a heroin addict's with heroin."

"You cannot be in a room with a computer, you cannot be in a house with a computer, you cannot visit someone with a computer, your parents cannot use a computer on your behalf," she said.

Monday's hearing only addressed the allegations that Heller contacted Manning.

"There simply is no direct evidence -- including IP, cellphone subscriber or related information -- connecting Ms. Heller to these communications," Heller's defense attorney told E!.

"Although the District Attorney's Office sought to incarcerate Ms. Heller for anonymous communications, the court reviewed the materials, allowed Ms. Heller to remain at liberty and will now require that the prosecution prove Ms. Heller violated the terms of her sentence."

On Tuesday, Manning's rep released a statement to E! on her behalf: "For over a year and a half, Taryn has endured consistent harassment, stalking, been falsely arrested, constantly accused, by a woman who used and manipulated the Internet, the press and the justice system in anyway possible to attack her."

She added, "Taryn says that all she wants as the outcome here is to see this woman get the help she so desperately needs, and to have her, her family and friends, be finally left alone."

Last year, Manning was arrested for allegedly breaking a counter restraining order against her filed by Heller. At the time, Manning's lawyer Stacey Richman told Us Weekly the allegations were false. Claiming it "unfortunate" that Manning would be accused in light of the orders placed for her own protection.
