Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor revealed at the Grammy Awards red carpet Sunday it was her father, and not her mother, who told her boys like big booties.
Trainor, 21, made the revelation while talking to Entertainment Tonight about her hit single "All About That Bass," where she sings: "My momma she told me don't worry about your size // She says, boys they like a little more booty to hold at night."
The question originally came from fellow Grammy nominee Miley Cyrus who had ET ask Trainor: "did you mom actually tell you that guys like a little bit more booty? Was that actually a quote from your mother?"
"My mom told me to always not worry about your size and be very confident," she explained. "But I think that [my dad] was the one who really said, 'Don't worry, baby -- boys like booty to hold at night.' My mom's too sweet, she's too innocent."
Trainor's "All About That Bass" was nominated for Record Of The Year on Sunday, but lost to "Stay with Me (Darkchild Version)" by Sam Smith.
