The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) celebrated its successful participation in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), which was held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 24th to 27th.

During the event, BTEA hosted hundreds of guests and held a number of meetings with various government agencies and private companies.

The Arabian Travel Market is the region’s premier tourism event, with a wide range of people interested in the latest developments, in addition to covering a wide range of publications related to travel and tourism. BTEA participated in the exhibition and witnessed the presence of renowned representatives of the leading hotels and leisure destinations in the Kingdom, tour organizers and travel agencies such as Sabre, Farhat International Tours and Travels, Gulf Hotel, Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay and Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea and Spa Hotel.

“The BTEA is once again delighted to participate in the Arabian Travel Market Exhibition, where we had the opportunity to showcase our latest developments. We were also pleased to network with several government organizations and companies in order to enhance our relationships and learn about the latest developments in the tourism sector,” said the Chief Executive Officer of the BTEA, H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa.

“The authority’s participation in this prestigious exhibition aims to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom of Bahrain in regards to boosting the tourism sector and further positioning Bahrain as a regional and international tourist destination by promoting its tourism and commercial offering,” he added.

“Under the slogan of ‘Ours. Yours.’, we can promote the Bahrain’s tourism components and attract travellers to the Kingdom through the marketing uniform and smooth flow of the message to the world and thus achieve the objectives of the authority seeking to increase the number of travellers by 15.2 million annually by the year 2018, and attract foreign investment in the tourism sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, ” he added.
