More than 107,000 Italian tourists have visited Israel since January, an 11% rise over the same period last year, Tzvi Lotan, director of the Israeli Tourism Office in Italy, made known on Wednesday. Between January and August 2012, 2.3 million people visited Israel, up 7% since last year and +5% over 2010, which was a record year for tourism, Lotan said.
