Safaga port received three ships on Sunday with 1,579 passengers on board on Sunday, said the Red Sea port authority's spokesman Malak Youssef.

The ships brought also to the harbor 144 trucks and 92 cars, said Youssef.

Meantime, the port of Nuweiba received two vessels that carried 183 travelers, five refrigerator trucks and 16 lorries. Two other ships left the harbor.
