International Coalition’s fighter jets intensified their raids on ISIS strongholds in Mousl’s right bank, killing over six military emirs loyal to the extremist group, as 14 civilians have been killed during a raid on car bomb in the city in coincidence with the killing of an Iraqi woman with four of her children during an artillery attack from the Iraqi forces against ISIS site on Friday.
According to local source, a woman and four of her children have been killed with an artillery shell that was targeting a site related to the extremist group in Tel Al Roman area. They added that the Iraqi attack was targeting a mortar detachment possessed by the extremist group near her house.
The residents said, in statement to “Arabs Today”, that 14 civilians from three families have been killed during an air raid launched by the International Coalition, saying that the raid was targeting a bombing wheel existed near a house in the central area of the Iraqi city. They added that the dead bodies are still under the rubble, saying that they have not been lifted because of the intensive clashes witnessed in the area.
In the same context, the Iraqi media cell revealed that the International Coalition’s fighter jets managed to bomb a car carrying one of ISIS military leaders called Abu Hamza Al Maghrabi. It added that they also targeted “Jond Al Khelafa” area controlled by the extremists, killing six military emirs working with the terrorist group.
On his hand, leader of Iraq’s Federal Police Shaker Jawdat said that his forces managed to control a police station in Akedat district, saying that they targeted a number of other districts in the city’s right bank controlled by the extremist group. He added that they managed to kill 16 fighters loyal to ISIS and destroyed over 9 bombing wheels in addition to eight mortar detachments.
He added that the extremist group lost its combat capabilities due to the withdrawal of the most of its militants, saying that they turn to demolish the buildings to dig tunnels to prevent the advance of the Iraqi troops to their strongholds in the city. He added that the federal police transferred over 300 displaced family from Jawsaq district to the camps of Hamam Al Alil.
On the other hand, local source revealed that cousin of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS, has been arrested by the Iraqi forces on Friday. It added, “The security forces managed to arrest a cousin of the leader of al Daesh Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, in a neighborhood Jawasaq the right side of the connector.”
The source stressed, “the detention was in accordance with the accurate intelligence,” adding that “security forces transferred the detainee to a place it has not announced for security reasons, and to complete the investigation with him.”
The commander of the rapid reaction forces, brigade Thamer Ismail, announced on Monday, freeing the entire Jawsaq neighborhood in the right side of the city of Mosul, killing 50 of the element Daesh, stressing that the troops would shy off Aldndan and pedal.
