Algerian Criminal Court

Algerian Criminal Court sentenced the leader of the Takfiri group to death, over killing 14 citizens in Saida Province.

The extremist group killed three members of the Algerian forces, seven Municipal Guard officers and four civilians, and burned the transportation. During the trial session, the suspect, who was a memeber in extremist group from 1995 until 2009, denied his participation in the criminal operation.

Criminal court in Algiers, also sentenced three fighters in Al-Nusra Front, to 20 years in prison, over establishing of an extremist group. The three militants spent nearly three years in Syrian territory and decided then to return to Algeria to be arrested by the Algerian forces. Following the investigation.

Meanwhile, three others were sentenced to three years in prison, over an attempt to join a terrorist organization.

Attorney General in the criminal court issued his verdict to halt legal proceedings against an Algerian leader in  Al-Nusra Front, because he was killed in one of the battles.
