Districts of Qabon, Teshreen and Barza Gardens

Districts of Qabon, Teshreen and Barza Gardens witnessed intensive missile attack from the governmental troops. The attacks coincided with clashes between the governmental troops on one hand and the opposition factions in the district of Qabon near the Syrian capital of Damascus.

In Damascus’ countryside, the opposition factions managed to prevent an attempt from the governmental troops to advance in the town of Hazrama in the eastern Ghouta, as they managed to kill a large number of them. Governmental fighter jets launched air raids against the districts of Duma city, leading to the killing of four persons and the injury of others among the civilian people.

They also raided a number of towns, including Mesraba, Housh Al Saleheya, Nashabeya, Tel Neshabeya and Otaya, as the opposition factions managed to target rallies of governmental troops in Sasa town using mortar shells leading to a large number of injuries among the governmental troops.

In Aleppo, the air force launched air raids on the city of Adnan and its outskirts in the northern countryside, resulting in injuries. The neighborhoods of Hurriyetan, Asia region and the town of Kfarhamra exposed to artillery shelling by regime forces, without reports of any injuries. In the western countryside, warplanes launched a raid on the city of Dar Azza, leaving many civilians injured, including children, in the town of Qabtan al-Jabal after a very violent missile attack. The town of Sheikh Aqeel was subjected to similar shelling. 

The air force also launched air raids on the town of Maskana in the eastern countryside targeted the cultural center, the municipality building and the vicinity of the Women's Arts Academy without giving details of any injuries.

In the province of Hama, helicopters carried out air raids on the cities of Tirean, Altamneh, Kafarzita and the village of Merkaba in the northern countryside, while the cities of Tirean, Taibeh al-Imam, Murak, Atshan and Buaydah were exposed to heavy artillery shelling.

In Homs, warplanes targeted the village of Amiriya in the northern countryside, accompanied by mortar shelling. Talbisa was also shelled without any casualties. On the other hand, a convoy of humanitarian aid entered the Hula area. While regime forces managed to control several points and locations southwest of Palmyra. Meanwhile, IS organization managed to repel a new attack on the perimeter of the silos of grain, during which many dead and wounded in the ranks of the parties.

In the province of Daraa, the air force launched air raids on the districts of Daraa al-Balad and the city of Busra al-Sham, while the towns of Giza and Ayadoudeh and the area between the city of Hara and the towns of Zumrin and Aqraba came under intermittent artillery shelling, while the fighters of the opposition factions combed the strongholds of the army of Khaled bin Walid, belonging to IS organization, on the outskirts of the town of Adwan in the western countryside.

In Deir Ezzor, activists said that a woman from the Hrabash district died of undernourishment, where government-controlled neighborhoods live under siege by IS. There were conflicting reports that the regime forces announced that the International Coalition planes had targeted an arms depot belonging to IS in Hatla village, containing chemicals that killed hundreds of people, including civilians.

In Raqqa, the Syrian Democratic Forces announced the start of the fourth stage to control the rest of the northern countryside and the valley of Jalab to remove all obstacles to prepare for the battle for control of the city of Raqqa.

On the other hand, Israeli army targeted a post for the governmental troops in the 90th Brigade of Quneitra’s countryside. According to sources, the attack came as a response to the shelling of occupied Golan. Facebook pages loyal to Assad’s regime said that the Israeli attacks led to material damages, while they have not led to any humanitarian losses.
