ISIS leader Abu Baker Al Baghdadi addressed his supporters in the areas under their control acknowledging his defeat in the recent battles witnessed in Mousl. He called them for withdrawal to the mountainous areas. The statement coincided with the statement of an Iraqi military leader stressing the failure of extremists to counter the advance of the Iraqi troops in the second largest city of the country.
Meanwhile, leader of "We Are Coming Nineveh" Abdel Amir Yar Allah revealed, in a statement, that the Iraqi troops resumed their advance to liberate Mousl's right bank praising the role performed by the Iraqi air forces and International Coalition. He added that the Federal Police forces resume inspection of the buildings in the liberated areas.
He clarified that the Iraqi forces managed to bomb 25 explosive devices and killed a number of extremists, including a sniper. They destroyed two buildings related to the extremist group and found six explosive belts. They destroyed a laboratory to make the explosive devices and two motorcycles in addition to seizure id large amounts of weapons and equipment.
The military leader revealed that the Iraqi forces controlled Demraji village from the grip of the extremist group and cleansed the liberated areas from the remnants of the extremists and thei explosives. Yar Allah described the role performed by the Iraqi air forces as wonderful as they covered 28 combat missions and killed 64 extremists during the military operations to liberate Mousl. He added that they destroyed a number of military equipment and weapons.
He added that the International Coalition also performed a major role to cover 40 combat missions destroying a bombing wheel and two laboratories to make explosives in addition to three tunnels and a headquarters of drones possessed by the extremist group. They also killed 35 extremists and destroyed three weapons stores.
On the other hand, ISIS leader Abu Baker Al Baghdadi addressed his supporters in Mousl acknowledging the recent defeats calling them for withdrawal to the mountainous areas. He demanded them to bomb themselves if they were besieged from the Iraqi troops.
He signaled that the leaders of the group escaped from Telaffar and Mousl to the areas controlled by the extremist group in Syria. The militants forced the residents to use their cars to prevent the advance of the Iraqi troops. The source added that ISIS media has not issued ant statement during the recent 24 hours.
