Violent clashes have erupted between Houthi militias and forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh on one hand and Yemeni governmental troops on the other hand, in Khab and Shaghab cities. The clashes led to the killing of a number of Houthi militants. 

Meanwhile, sources revealed that the armed forces and Yemeni resistance loyal to the legitimate regime of Yemen countered an attack from the Houthi militias in a number of sites at Sabreen area, as the Yemeni troops exchanged prisoners with the Houthi militias and Saleh forces, as the insurgents released three prisoners from the resistance forces in return for the release of a number of militants.

On the other hand, Ansar Allah Houthi group seized control on a village in the southern west of Taiz, pushing 115 families to leave their houses. According to local sources, the Houthi group attacked Etbihah village of Taiz and controlled it after a two-monts siege and battles against the popular resistance loyal to the Yemeni legitimate regime.

The sources added that the Houthi  militia set the fire on three houses, while bombed five others immediately after their control on the village, as humanitarian officials stressed that over 115 families have been displaced from the village, describing the humanitarian position their as disastrous. They stressed that the relief organizations distribute aids to the displaced people
