Saudi Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz on Sunday reaffirmed support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Egypt in its efforts to achieve security, stability and economic recovery.
During his meeting with Egyptian President Abdelfatah al-Sisi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister congratulated al-Sisi on the success of the just-ended three-day economic conference themed "Egypt the Future," Presidential Spokesman Alaa Yusuf said in a press release.
"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen on the development of the relationship with Egypt and backing the Egyptian government in its efforts to restore the stability of the money market," the spokesman quoted the Crown Prince as saying during the meeting.
The Kingdom welcomes the recently-adopted economic and legislative reforms which started to bear fruit as shown during the conference, said the Crown Prince who led the Saudi delegation to the gathering on behalf of King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
On his part, President al-Sisi expressed on behalf of the Egyptian people gratitude to the King Salman, and the people and government of Saudi Arabia for their support to Egypt.
The late king of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Abdulaziz made sincere efforts in lobbying for the Sharm el-Sheikh conference out of realization of Egypt's need of foreign direct investment, and the feelings of Arab fraternity and solidarity, al-Sisi told his guest.
Crown Prince Muqrin concluded his trip to this Red Sea resort and left for home later tonight.
