The Iraqi forces managed to control strategic area

The Iraqi forces managed to control strategic area in the western side of Mousl, as it was used by ISIS militias to refine oil before its smuggling to Syria to finance its operations. They also killed one of the group's major leaders during an air raid targeting a village in the areas controlled by the extremist group.

According to a formal statement, the Iraqi forces resumed their advance in the areas controlled by the extremist group in the framework of the current operations to liberate Mousl's right bank in cooperation with the Iraqi air forces and International Coalition led by the U.S.

It added that the Iraqi federal police achieved notable advance in Alboseif village, saying that the forces fully liberated the village and inspected its buildings to cleanse them from the elements of the extremist group. They also destroyed a bombing wheel and a motorcycle and seized a large amounts of weapons. They killed a large number of extremists.

It continued, "Pieces of the Ninth Armored Division managed to liberate Allazaka village located in the southern area of Mousl's right bank and Sahagi village in cooperation with Abbas brigade." It stresses that the police divisions completed the missions to liberate their first targets of the third phase of Mousl liberation operations.

It added that the forces succeeded to destroy three bombing wheels and ten explosive belts in addition to two motorcycles. They also killed a number of extremists. Spokesman of Joint Special Operations Command Yahia Abdel Rasool revealed that the troops of Nineth Division of Iraqi army controlled Atshana Mountains that were used by the extremists to refine the oil stolen from the pipelines.

He added that they found a large number of tanks used by the militants to transfer the refined oil to Syria stressing that the oil was one of the major sources on Which the extremist group depended to finance its operations.

Security sources revealed that four ISIS drones carrying explosives surprisingly dropped over housing buildings in the wrstern area of Mosul leading to the killing of a young man and a child in addition to the injury of five persons, including two women.

The source monitored the notable decline in the use of drones by the extremist group during the recent days for unknown reasons. 

According to other sources, a drone related to the governmental troops raided a village in Kirkuk killing ISIS military leader Mola Samad. It added that the raid came upon intelligence information.

In Anbar, the pieces of Seventh Division of Iraqi army managed to prevent an attack against Kabisa district killing seven extremists and injuring a large number of them. The governmental authorities imposed a curfew in Heet city in the wrstern side of Anbar. The measure comes in anticipation to any potential attacks from ISIS against the city.
