New aerial bombardment this morning targeting the central prisons and headquarter of the joint security office in Libyan Sabha, killing 5 persons and injuring 7 others. While the bombing on “Tamnhant” air base renewed on Monday, and the spokesman of the 201st Battalion, Waleed Salem said that, the base is shelled with Grad rockets by brigade 21 of the military forces, adding that, there aren’t any human losses.
Source said that, the Libyan army forces lost 4 of their soldiers during the armed clashes with terrorist organizations in Benghazi, adding that, Al-Galaa Hospital for Surgery and Accidents received the bodies of Abdul Rahim Mohammed Al-Maadani, Ahmed Amrajid Abraiden, Said Abdul Salam Abdul Karim and Faris Yahya Sulaiman, who lost their lives during clashes in El Sabry area.
Other military sources said that, El Sabry area is full of explosives, mines and snipers, confirming that the Libyan army is organizing its forces and filed leaders are meeting to coordinate before initiating the military operations. The spokesman of Special Forces, Col. Melod El Zoe said that, the forces took their stations in El Sabry and the center of the city, preparing to free it from terrorist organizations.
He said that, Volcano and Investigations battalions of the Special Forces are waiting orders to coordinate with the army, adding that they are advancing carefully because of the snipers, mines and explosive devices planted by the militias, which killed one of the soldiers in El Mafteeh Street.
On the other hand, source from Sabratha said that, leader in Daesh, Abdullah Aldbashi was captured and killed by Sabratha rebels in El Mashtal area.
The Media office of the Ministry of Interior said that, undersecretary, Adel Abdulaziz issued his orders to move the ministry to Benghazi to work from unrevealed place, to monitor the ministry more closely and protect the armed forces after freeing the city. He also thanked the city residents for their hospitality and kindness.
Prime Minister, Abdulrahman Al-Suweihli revealed that, his meeting with Speaker of the House of Representatives Aqila Saleh in Rome, was within the frame of discussing the Libyan political agreement and its mechanisms, adding that, the military organization file wasn’t discussed.
State media office said that, Al-Suweihli agreed to this meeting as a must to sacrifice to sit and talk with the other party in order to end the political division and achieve national reconciliation. The office added that , he met with his first and second deputies and the heads of parliament committees in Tripoli, and put them in the frame of his meeting.
