A branch of Al-Qaeda's “Muhaajiren brigade”

A branch of Al-Qaeda's “Muhaajiren brigade” made an appeal to its leader Murad Al-Shayeb and Tunisian Brotherhood especially in Ben Qardan, to support the elements belonging to the organization ,according to sources. The message also asked Murad not to surrender and support fighters and their sympathizers in Libya.

The sources also revealed that two elements of the brigade targeted the civilian prison in Marnagieh to free two prisoners working with Al-Qaeda. Murad Al-Shayeb known as “Abo Aouf El Muhaajir” is a former assistant to the battalion "Aqba bin Nafi", and the battalion ex-leader, Khaled Al-Shayeb brother. 20 arrest warrants issued against him ,mostly for murder and connections with an extremist organization .

The brigade was called this name because of its different African and Arab nationalities ,people who came from Libya ,Nigeria and Somalia. This brigade controlled Sirte city which connects east and west ,allowing them to recruit many illegal foreign migrants. It also provides appealing salaries from unknown sources to its elements, but a leader in Daesh known as “Abu Obaida El Masry” said this money came from the trophies they obtain and financial support from Arab characters.
