Syrian regime forces shell east of Damascus

The Syrian jets launched air raids on the Tishreen, Qaboun and Basatin districts of Barza, east of the capital, Damascus. They were accompanied by heavy artillery and rocket fire, while government forces snipers opened fire on civilian houses and roads in the Barzeh neighborhood.

Violent clashes, between opposition factions and government forces, continue on the fronts of Barzeh and Al-Hafiz hills, east of Damascus, following a recent attempt by the latter in the region. Reliable sources indicated that there were ongoing negotiations between representatives of Barzeh neighborhood, adjacent to al-Qaboun and Tahir neighborhoods, which have been subjected to a violent campaign for more than three months, and representatives of government forces, mostly military and security, in an effort to keep the neighborhood out of confrontation and make it closer To reconciliation and cooperation to the fullest extent.

In Reef Dimashq,  the air force launched air strikes on the city of Harasta, in the eastern Ghouta, killing a woman and wounding many civilians. Violent clashes took place on the fronts of the western city of Harasta, and neighborhoods of Qaboun and Basateen Barza on the other hand, following attempts by government forces to recover what they lost. The opposition factions targeted the strongholds of the government forces in the city of Arbeen. Dahr al-Aswad area, in the western countryside, was hit by artillery and heavy machine guns, with no injuries reported.

The air force launched air strikes on the town of Idan, in the northern countryside of Aleppo, accompanied by heavy artillery shelling, which resulted in the death of several civilians. In the southern countryside, Atashana village was shelled, what left many citizens injured.
 
A car bomb exploded in al-Rashidin area, west of Aleppo, targeting a gathering of buses of gunmen and residents of the towns of Kufriya and Al-Fu’ah . This led to dozens of casualties and injuries, and a number of dead and wounded from the opposition,  who were in the targeted area. The Civil Defense said its teams retrieved 100 bodies from the blast site.

Security sources said that the huge explosion targeted buses "Passengers" were carrying the displaced from the towns of Kufriya and Al-Fu’ah west of Aleppo. The explosion took place in Al-Rashidin neighborhood in Aleppo near the gathering place of the displaced persons from the two towns.
 
Witnesses said that a suicide bomber carried out the attack with a car bomb, which resulted in the destruction of five buses and the deaths of at least 15 people and 30 others injured. All of the dead were women and children among the displaced from the towns of Kufriya and Al-Fu’ah .
 
The Syrian news channel reported that a terrorist was driving a car bomb blew himself up in al-Rrashidin area near by a fuel station,  where the buses carrying the people of the towns of Kufriya and Al-Fu’ah standed there.
 
The explosion was preceded by the exodus of thousands of people and militants from the towns of Kufriya, Al-Fu’ah, Madaya and Zabadani, who went to Idlib and Aleppo under the agreement of the "four cities", concluded between the Syrian authorities and the armed factions. According to the agreement, the buses of Kufriya and Al-Fu’ah will enter Aleppo and Zabadani buses will enter Idlib at the same time.
In Hama, Syrian helicopters carried out air raids on the cities of Taibah Imam, Halwaya and Souran as well as other areas in the northern countryside, resulting in injuries, while the towns of Latamna and Hlomaya were shelled. In the eastern countryside, air strikes were carried out on the Akerbat side, with no injuries reported. Opposition factions managed to destroy a tank and a tracked bulldozer on Magdal front, in the northern countryside, after being targeted by the Tau missiles.
 
Russian warplanes bombed the cities of Kernabal and Khan Shaykhun, in the southern countryside of Idlib, and in the towns of Tirmala and Kanafra and the surrounding areas of Hibit and Madaya. An explosive device planted in a car exploded in the city of Dana, in the northern countryside, killing two people.

In Homs, the air force launched air strikes on the towns of Taldu and Kafarla in Hula area in the northern countryside, killing one person and injuring several civilians, while the village of Izziddin was shelled. The opposition factions targeted the strongholds of the government forces at Qarmas, Mermin and Water Establishment checkpoints in Hula area in the northern countryside, with mortar shells in response to the targeting of civilians.

The exit of the 5th batch of al-Wa’er neighborhood in Homs city was postponed, where it was expected for the batch to get out today to Jarabulus area which is controlled by the Turkish forces and factions of the “Euphrates Shield” operation in the northern countryside of Aleppo, the sources confirmed that carrying out the agreement was postponed to Monday, waiting for the completion of arrangements and logistics procedures.

In Daraa, military aircraft and helicopter gunships launched fierce air raids on Daraa al-Balad neighborhoods without causing any civilian casualties. Most of the civilians were driven to the plains, and Nisib Customs was attacked by the helicopters.
