Yemeni Army Forces and popular resistance achieved a military success on Tuesday by completely controlling El Nar mountain, east of Al-Mukha city. According to sources, there are still clashes in Mount Thubani and Zuqairia area at the same time government forces is shelling Khaled bin Walid camp, Houthis largest military base, south-west of Yemen.
Sources confirmed that, controlling El Nar mount came after a wide attack of the government forces and popular resistance on Houthis and Saleh sites ,killing 12 of their elements and wounded other, and 2 of the government forces were killed. Controlling this mount is an important step to completely shut down a main supply line for Houthis,as this mount links Hodeidah and Taiz.
Other security sources said that Houthis militias fled the scene leaving behind a lot of wounded and military equipment, while the forces and the resistance continued to progress after Houthis defeat in “Golden Spear” operation. This operation managed to turn the balance of power in favor of Yemeni forces. The successive victories of army forces and the resistance present a huge change in freeing all western coasts of Yemen from Houthis rebels, while the Arab Coalition continues to support the Yemeni army in their battle to enable Yemeni people to live with dignity.
Arab Coalition fighter jets continued bombing Houthis locations in Saada governorate, targeting heavy machinery and sites in Al-Abu Jabara valley and Al-Bakaa, which resulted in killing Houthis elements while others were wounded.
Coast Guard forces seized an unknown ship in Al-Mahra governorate, East of Yemen ,filled of different weapons according to “Tomorrow’s Aden” newspaper. No official comment has been released regarding this ship, but the Arab coalition declared more than once its confiscating of Iranian ships and boats filled with smuggled weapons for Houthis in Yemen. On the other hand ,Yemeni Minister of Transport Murad Al-Halimi denied any rumors about closing Hodeidah port, adding that the government still allowing ships to enter the port, but only through United Nations office, which is responsible for checking the coming ships to this port.
The Yemeni president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi saod on Tuesday, in Riyadh that Yemen faced difficulties and Iranian interventions through Houthis and Saleh group, adding during his meeting with, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdul Latif Zayani, that the council states members support Yemen during the recent crisis, and El Zayani confirmed the cooperation between Yemen and the council.
Abd Rabbuh also received US ambassador to Yemen, Matthew Toler and both of them talked about cooperation and coordination between the two countries on different fields, praising their advanced relations under the new American administration in order to face challenges that threaten international navigation and peace.
