Stephan El Shaarawy has scored just one goal since the end of January

Stephan El Shaarawy has scored just one goal since the end of January AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy has insisted he is more worried about his side’s league position than his current goal drought. Napoli’s Edinson Cavani and Udinese’s Antonio Di Natale are ahead of El Shaarawy in Serie A's goalscoring charts this season, and the Italian-born Egyptian has netted just once since the end of January.
However, while the goals have dried up for the Italy star, Milan have moved to within four points of second-placed Napoli in the league table.
And he told Milan Channel: “Right now the important thing is the table. Then, if the goals arrive, even better.
"Everyone is telling me not to obsess and just think about my performance for the team, but my personal objective is to reach 20 goals and I hope to get back scoring soon.
"However, the most important thing now is to try to get the second place, which remains our goal."
