Algerian defender Jamal Mesbah
The defender of the Algerian national team and the Serie A club AC Milan, Jamal Mesbah is set to leave the Italian giants during next January\'s transfer window, Italian media sources said.
The news came after his name was listed in the club\'s want-out list, sources said.
Press reports in Italy have earlier revealed that AC Milan\'s manager Massimo Allegri was not convinced by Mesbah\'s performance since he joined the club. The Algerian defender was strongly linked with a move out of AC Milan\'s squad in last summer\'s transfer window. However, it was reported that Mesbah has turned down two offers from Palirmo and Torino, preferring to test his chances with AC Milan for one more season.
AC Milan\'s left side, where Mesbah plays, was the team\'s weak link in the 2011-2012 season, where AC Milan ended as runners-up behind the champions, Juventus.
Jamal has recently sustained an injury in a training session with his club. He is supposed to be sidelined for two weeks, which will prevent him from featuring for Algeria in their decisive African Cup qualifier against Libya next Sunday.
