The Algerian team Bosnian trainer Wahid Halilozitch described the match between Tunis and Algeria in the African Cup first round 2012 as the most difficult as it will decide the rest of the competition.
He expressed his concern from his team group confirming that it\'s \"the iron group against his young team missing experienced players to compete in international major cups\" asserting that \"meeting Tunis will be the key to cross the second round if the players stick to their tactic plan.\"
Halilozitch added: \"The draw was not totally fair from the technical side, due to the value of the participating teams in this group, including Tunisian team, Togo and Ivory Coast, wishing to achieve victory for his Algerian team, crossing to the second round\".
Halilozitch has recalled sixteen players to his training camp, end in a friendly match against Bosnian team on November 14, where Wahid Halilozitch successes Abdelhak Benchikha leading the Algerian team, continue his contract till end of 2014.
The African cup finals will be held in South Africa from January 19 to February 10, where the draw put the Algerian team in the fourth group with Tunisian team, Togo and Ivory Coast.
On the other side, Ivory Coast has met Algerians nineteen times; the last meeting was in the quarter finals, in African Cup 2010 Ungula, where greens won (3-2).
Algerians have played with Togo team three times, the last match was in December 22 1997 in Cairo on the side line of the treble round organized by Egypt, with the participation of Togo and Algeria, where Greens won Egypt twice led by trained Abdul Rahman Mahdawy, but it was defeated by Togo.
The African fourth group will be played in Royal Bavoking stadium, with forty five seats capacity, ninety minutes by car from Johannesburg, as it was chosen among 2010 world cup stadiums, as the eights finals match was played on it between USA and Ghana.
