Egypt national team will play its second match in the African Cup of Nations, held in Gabon, against Uganda, in a Group D tie at Port Gentil stadium on Saturday night.
Speaking in Spanish through an interpreter, Egyptian team's coach Hector Cuper told the media at the pre-match presser that the prime objective for Saturday’s game is to seek maximum points with so many goals.
He confessed having watched and shared lots of videos with his players from several Uganda Cranes games as a way of preparing for his team.
“We have had three days of rest and preparation since our game with Mali on Tuesday night.
We did not play badly despite the barren draw result. We have watched so many videos for Uganda and had quite a number of lectures.”
“This game means a lot to my career. I never depend on one player or two players. I select players who suit to what we are playing. We shall create a balance between defense and attack”,he told the press
The Pharaohs conducted their last training at the Port Gentil training facility with two goalkeepers Essam El Hadary and Sherif Ekramy training.
Meanwhile, Uganda Cranes training conducted their final training at the Sogara training ground also Friday night.
