Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky followed up her two wins on opening night at the Arena Pro Swim Series with a dominating victory in the 200 meter freestyle.
Ledecky, who is the world record holder in the 400 meter freestyle, on Friday clocked a time of 1:56.16 in the 200m free to finish nearly two seconds in front of fellow American Megan Romano.
Ledecky won the 400m freestyle and 100m freestyle on Thursday at the University of Texas facility. Her time Friday was one second slower than her personal best set at last year's US nationals.
Olympian Elizabeth Beisel won the 400m individual medley with a time of four minutes, 36.71 seconds.
American Caitlin Leverenz (4:38.35) was second while reigning world champion Katinka Hosszu of Hungary placed third in 4:39.93. Beisel also finished second in the 200m backstroke Friday.
"I focussed on the 200 free this morning and I was happy with that," Beisel said. "Tonight I am definitely pleased with the times and I am a little surprised that they were as fast as they were."
Connor Dwyer won the men's 200m freestyle while Ryan Murphy claimed the 200m backstroke by beating Olympic 100m backstroke champ Matt Grevers.
The second stop on the Arena Pro Swim Series wraps up on Saturday at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
